Labs Start is committed to a welcoming, safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for everyone in our programs. This Code of Conduct describes the standards we expect of all participants and the people who support them.
This Code applies to all founders, funders, participants, mentors, staff, partners, and guests—in every Labs Start setting, including offices and program spaces, work and social events, conferences, lodging and travel, and all digital channels such as calls, video, email, chat, and social media.
We do not tolerate:
Labs Start involves inherent power imbalances—for example, between participants and staff, mentors, or investors. Romantic or intimate relationships across such a power disparity must be disclosed so that conflicts of interest can be managed and everyone involved is protected.
If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code, please report it to conduct@labsstart.com. We aim to acknowledge reports within two business days, handle them as confidentially as possible, and take appropriate action—which may include a warning, removal from an event, or removal from the program. We will not retaliate against anyone who reports in good faith.
Questions or reports may be sent to conduct@labsstart.com.
